Tropical Trauma is a board game designed and prototyped during the Board Game Jam 2011 on April 17th. This game can be played by 2 to 4 players. A terrible natural disaster is about to happen in a tropical island where different tribes live together. A big wave is coming and the tribesmen have to cooperate to build a shelter. And by cooperate we mean survive at any cost!

Each player controls a tribe, and taking turns, each of them place tiles on the table. Each tile has one or several walls on it, and connecting walls, players build rooms to protect their tribesmen. Sounds easy, and indeed it is, but take care, as every turn a wave can fill the shelter drowning the unprotected tribesmen.

Each game lasts from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on how intricate players decide to make their rooms. Winners of the Board Game Jam 2011, we would like you to feel the excitement of a cooperative/backstabbing/wavy game.
